Service
The Lecturecast system service is used for the scheduling and recording of lectures across various UCL lecture rooms and for the subsequent publication/sharing of the lecture recordings with students via the relevant Moodle course.
Lecturecast offers capabilities that go beyond the simple recording of lectures. The system provides a learning platform that allows staff to engage with students and to view student and course analytics. The system also allows students to take notes and flag content.
The Lecturecast system service consists of a number of different components. The diagram below provides an overview of the different system components, roles and capabilities.
