1. The first step is to decide Click on Constructs.
2. Decide on the position or where to situate the condition. Click Add New + at the correct Parent level. It can either be at the level of a previously created Sequence or Condition.
3. A Construct Type option box will appear. Click Condition to add a condition.
4. If the new condition is within a condition, then click the Add New + at the level of first condition.  You need to place it in the ‘True’ branch or in the ‘False’ branch as indicated below the relevant grey bar across the page.
5. Three fields open on the right-hand side: a Label, a Literal and a Logic field.
6. In the Label field give the condition a Name. This should be in the format c_[questionref]. Refer to the labelling guide for naming conditions.
7. In the Literal field add the text of the condition. This should be the text exactlyas it appears in the questionnaire. See the Archivist Elements section for further guidance on this adding condition text.(link here).
8. In the Logic field the condition should be documented using the set of condition logic used in CLOSER. . See the Archivist Elements section for further guidance on using condition logic (link here). The condition logic resides in square brackets following the condition text. This allows it to be extracted for programmatic use later. You do not need to add the square brackets in the Logic field as they will be applied automatically.
9. Click Save to save your new Condition construct. 
10. Return to the Build page by clicking on the menu button near the top of the page.
