Digital Education recommends adding Zoom webinar meeting recordings to Lecturecast so that recordings can be kept in the one place for students to access, and to take advantage of Lecturecast's viewer analytics and automatic captions.Digital Education recommends recording the Zoom session locally. Once the meeting is complete, Zoom will create the recording file and open it on your computer. If you can't find the local recording file see Zoom's guidance on local recordings. This has the following advantages:

  • All recordings are in one place;
  • Your students can make use of the ALP tools (e.g. confusion flags, video forums, student notes);
  • You can see viewer analytics on who has watched the recording.

Once you have the recording file, simply upload the video file to Lecturecast, as demonstrated in the following video:

For further guidance, please see the relevant guides for uploading the recording to Lecturecast.
