Moodle keeps records which allow staff to follow student engagement with the logs a user’s activity whilst they’re logged in. Hence, staff can trace students’ engagement with activities and resources in each space. These the educationally valuable reports are available to you on your Moodle space. The data can give you an objective snapshot of how students are using your Moodle space and ensure the time you’re putting into it is being used most effectively.This session will help you interpret the different reports and understand which questions they can answer (and which they can't). You will generate your own questions for your own context, and be guided to answer them using Moodle Reports. We will discuss the implications of what you discover. Please note, though we will briefly generated. They can be used strategically to improve learning outcomes and help to manage your workload. In this session you’ll devise contextually relevant questions and receive guidance on how to answer some, by interpreting various Moodle Reports. We’ll discuss the implications of your findings. We’ll touch on the MyFeedback report and Attendance monitoring, but this session will mostly be about the reports available through Settings > Reports.This session is suitable for will focus on the other reports listed in the Settings block. This session suits staff with editing permissions on a Moodle space which is used by students.
