If we are working on a questionnaire which has a lot of similar content to a previous questionnaire from that study, we can make a copy of the previously entered and verified questionnaire, and import the XML into Archivist (see guidance on how to do this below). This saves a lot of time, as targeted changes can be made to the questionnaire as opposed to entering or reviewing and editing the content line-by-line; we can be confident that, when the content is the same from one wave to another, it does not need checking as the coped questionnaire has already been verified.

To identify the changes, diffchecker can be used. This website allows you to upload two documents, and it will highlight the differences between the two. The enterer can then focus on making changes to the areas of the questionnaire which have been highlighted as being different from the previous questionnaire.
