Saving data to your local network drive (MM8, Dimension Icon and Dimension FastScan systems)

On the desktop of the AFM computer, click on OpenShare and enter your LCN username and password

You also have the option of saving data to the group folder. To access this enter your PI's name, otherwise just leave this field blank and press enter to skip this part.

You should now have access to your space on the H: drive and the group Z: drive where you can transfer files to.

Once you have finished transferring your data, click on CloseShare on the desktop. It is important that you remember to do this otherwise the next user will have access to your drive contents!
