MyPortfolio Moodle Assignment

What is it?

A MyPortfolio Moodle Assignment allows students to submit collections or pages from their MyPortfolio accounts.  ‘MyPortfolio’ will appear as ‘MyPortfolio Mahara’ in Moodle.

How does it work?

It works like any other Moodle Assignment.

Submitting a MyPortfolio page or collection through Moodle creates a copy which cannot be edited until marking is complete. Your original/live page or collection remains available for editing in Mahara.

If you make any changes, you must re-submit your portfolio after editing it, just like with other Moodle Assignments e.g. MS Word files.

 Important reminder

Have you made changes to your page or collection? You need to re-submit!

Submitting your MyPortfolio through Moodle only creates a copy of your pages and/or collection.  Therefore, if you make any changes to your work after submitting, please make sure to re-submit.

You will notice that the MyPortfolio page and/or collection you have already submitted will appear with a timestamp and will be marked as submitted (please see screenshot below).

Please make sure you select the most up to date / live version of your portfolio which should only include the title of your page/collections and no time stamp. The screenshot below shows two collections. The first one is ‘test collection update’ and this is my ‘live’ portfolio. The other one is ‘test collection update; submitted at 11 Apr 2024, 15:36’ which is a copy of my portfolio.
