Maintaining the anonymity of your submission

UCL operates a policy of anonymous marking of summative assessments in order to ensure fairness.  It is up to the student to ensure their identity is not revealed within the work submitted.  Do not enter your name, UCL userID or UPI on work that should be anonymous, instead insert your Candidate Number.

Each year within a programme of study you will be assigned a different personal Candidate Number which is composed of four letters plus a check digit (e.g. ABCD1). You can view your Candidate Number within MyStudies on Portico.  

Enter your Candidate Number on any Coversheet and filename, to ensure they remain anonymous.
Please follow the instructions provided with your assignment, and if in doubt consult with your Course / Programme Administrator well before the assessment is due.
