Moodle Termly Increment Roadmap
To see what has recently gone live in UCL Moodle please take a look at the respective Release Notes.
The objective of the Moodle Roadmap
- The Moodle Roadmap is an effort at more transparency and engagement on the direction and development of UCL Moodle.
- The Moodle Roadmap is now based around ISD's Agile delivery process which consists of four (4) Termly Increments (TI) per year with each Termly Increment consisting of several two-week development sprints.
- Each Termly Increment will consist of Features that are selected by value to the end user and operational requirements that are selected by the Product Owner and agreed upon by the Product Team during a two-day Termly Increment planning session.
- The Moodle Roadmap will show plans for the next two to four Termly Increments, however only the features in the Current TI are confirmed and have been committed to by the team
- The Moodle Roadmap will show the current and pending Termly Increments Features
- This roadmap is intended to be a living document and will provide an active view into our internal roadmap, and will be updated as part of the Termly Increment planning
N.B. Please note that because this is an "active" roadmap, any deployment/delivery dates could be subject to short notice change and should not be regarded as a guaranteed delivery date unless the line item has an "Approved for Deployment" status. This is because issues within the development cycle may cause items to be delayed or cancelled (e.g. if a feature fails one of its testing phases if a feature requires additional development time/resources)
Termly Increment - Forward Planning Roadmap
