- In no particular order turn on UPS1 and UPS2 on the shelf under the microscope by pressing their power buttons.
- Turn on Laser Bed 1 on the bench next to the PC by pressing the power button and turning the key from 0 to 1. The power button will emit blue light when it is on.
- Turn on Laser Bed 2 on the shelf under the microscope in the same way as above.
- Start up the PC.
