Lecturecast October 2017

This task is performed by Lecturecast Instructors to publish a Lecturecast capture to a class.

The term 'capture' is used throughout Lecturecast ALP to describe a video recording.

A 'class' is a container in Lecturecast ALP which holds content specific to a single teaching and learning event.

To navigate to Lecturecast ALP via Moodle, refer to the Lecturecast ALP – Learning the Basics training guide.

Special events

The Lecturecast recording system is not suitable for special events. DO NOT attempt to schedule a special event using Lecturecast.

If you have a requirement for a special event, please contact the UCL Media Production team at video@ucl.ac.uk. This team
will help you to identify the best method for capturing and publishing your special event.

  • Special events are non-teaching events that are not part of an undergraduate or postgraduate taught program, e.g. an
inaugural lecture, conference, outreach events etc.
