In Norwegian, as in English, the future tense is formed by using skal or vil with the bare infinitive (the form of the verb one finds in the dictionary, usually ending in -e or a stressed vowel, e.g. å snakke or å tro; bare means without å).
In both languages it is common to use present tense verbs to indicate the future.
