Go to the Agendo home page: https://next.cirklo.org/ucl-lmcb. You might find it more useful to type the URL into the address bar of a new window or tab if you want to read these instructions at the same time.

On the home page, click where it says Click here to login in the top right of the screen and enter your Agendo username and password in the login box. You can also request login credentials by clicking New user.

After you've logged in, the Agendo home screen looks like this...

Navigate through the tabs on the left to see the available resources ordered in different ways (e.g. by Facility or Type). Click on any of the resources to book time slots on the microscope calendar. LMCB resources are in the LMCB Light Microscopy facility.

In most cases you only have permission to book those machines on which you have been trained. Click the Permissions tab on the right to see the microscopes and computers you can use. Click a resource to open its calendar.

Each resource has its own calendar (in this case, GFP3). The Fields tab varies between resources but can allow you to do such things as specify the required temperature for an environmental chamber. In the Options tab you can report incidents (e.g. if the software or hardware was not working properly during your booking).

To book a slot, just drag the mouse downwards to adjust the length of the time slot. You can drag overnight to the following morning but not from Sunday to Monday. Right-clicking on your booked slot opens a list (indicated by a red arrow in the image), which allows you to modify your booking. For example, you can delete your booking or request assistance from a manager if you need help setting up the microscope for your experiment. You can also right-click on someone else's slot and select Waiting List. If the slot becomes available you will receive an automatic notification.
