3. Selecting course requirements
The different scenarios and options for migrating Moodle courses are listed below:
| Scenario | Requirement | Action |
|---|---|---|
| A module in Moodle contains a single course | Copy the course content to the corresponding new module code in new Moodle | Select Option 1: Lift and shift |
| A module in Moodle contains a single course | Build this course from an empty baseline template in new Moodle. | Select Option 2: Create a new course and copy staff enrolments only |
| A module in Moodle contains several courses | Copy all the courses to the corresponding new module code in new Moodle | Select Option 3: (for one of the courses) Add the extra courses by copying and pasting the links for each additional course to other Moodle courses section of the mapping tool. |
