Extending assessments in Moodle for students with a SORA, EC or DAP

DAP - Delayed Assessment Permit
Up to three times per year students can submit a Delayed Assessment Permit (DAP) if they need to delay their submission beyond the activity deadline. A Delayed Assessment Permit (DAP) must only be used when the circumstance is NOT governed by EC or SORA regulations.

EC - Extenuating Circumstances
For emergencies that are sudden, unexpected and beyond the students control students should submit an Extenuating Circumstances claim.

SORA - Summary of Reasonable Adjustments
Long-term, chronic conditions and disabilities are covered by a ‘Summary of Reasonable Adjustments'.

Turnitin assignments do not provide an override facility. We recommend creating a separate Turnitin assignment for SORA, EC or DAP authorised students.
