Forum posts aren't sending out
The forum is probably hidden. Unhide it to send out any forum discussions posted from that point onwards.
Students can't see their Moodle course
Is the course hidden from students? You need to check the course settings (in the Settings menu) to check it is available to students.
Have they been enrolled? Automatic Portico enrolments should happen overnight once a student has been approved to take that module by the department (or automatically 2 weeks into the start of term)
How can I see all the Moodle courses in my department?
The HoD needs to email permission to ele@ucl.ac.uk
and
staff with category level Moodle access (Moodle is setup with each department having it's own category) need to complete the Administering your Moodle course training, available online:
