Welcome to the booking space for the train-the-trainer workshops, to be scheduled between 30th May and 30th June.
These online sessions are intended for trainers only. If you want to learn about Moodle 4.2 but not train other colleagues, you do not need to attend this workshop. You will have access to shorter faculty-based sessions or online, self-paced training provisions available soon.

Description
In this 3-hour online workshop, participants will be equipped with the tools and strategies needed to deliver engaging and effective training sessions that meet the needs of their departmental academic and administrative colleagues.
You only require to attend a single three-hour workshop per trainer.

Nominated FLTLs, departmental Learning Technologists, CLLs
Objectives
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Identify the key features and latest enhancements in Moodle 4.2 that are relevant to their learners:
- Navigate the new Moodle 4.2 interface and understand the new navigation features.
- Customise user preferences and understand how these preferences affect the user experience.
- Edit courses using the improved course editing tools.
- Understand the new features and enhancements in Moodle activities, including the improved database activity and timed assignments.
- Utilise the improved Question Bank features for better organisation and management of question types.
- Use the Gradebook with greater efficiency and understand the new Gradebook UX improvements.
- Review and adapt lesson plans that incorporate the new features and enhancements in Moodle 4.2 relevant to their team.
- Select a training sequence/approach suitable for their team and customise their training material accordingly.

You can sign-up to attend via DLE: Moodle 4.2 Train the trainer workshop and you will receive joining instructions via email, following your enrolment.
- Registration closes 1 day before the session.
- Please check you are registered in MyLearning, after enrolling. If you have not received the joining instructions, 1 day before the course, please do check your 'Junk Email' box.
- To minimise disruption, please do not attend a workshop you haven't registered for, and do not forward your joining instructions to others who have not registered. This will likely cause confusion and delays in the session flow.
