Lecturecast April 2019


All Instructors can download content from their Library. If you are recording a special event you will need to follow the steps below as you cannot publish your content on ALP's.

This training guide describes the basic steps required to download content.

1. Navigate to Lecturecast ALP

Refer to Logging in to Lecturecast (Echo360) for instructions on how to do this.

You can also access Lecturecast ALP via your Moodle courses and then access your Library as described in the steps below.

2. Access your Library

Opening Lecturecast takes you directly to the Lecturecast Library.

3. Access the options for the relevant content

Find the content you want to download and click on the three dots for that content.

4. Download the content

The options available for downloading content will vary depending on the type of content you are downloading.

Select the 'More Actions' and 'Download' option.

4.1 Download recorded content

Up to three options will be available for downloading recorded content  (depending on what was captured):

  1. The screen (with audio)
  2. The presenter (with audio)
  3. Audio only

Select the relevant option for downloading then select 'DOWNLOAD' and follow the prompts to download the media file.

4.2 Download non-recorded content

Follow the prompts to download the file.
