When requesting a new Moodle course, there are 3 options to choose from, listed below. Please make sure to provide the module code (if applicable) and a course title.

| Based on a Departmental Template | Department-based templates or the Blank Connected Learning Baseline Module template are predefined in Moodle to be used as a shell for any new course. |

| Blank Digital Education Baseline Module template (formerly Connected Learning Baseline Module Template) | This option is primarily used for the creation of new course templates (if a department template does not exist), or used for testing for the Getting Started with Moodle and Administering your Moodle Course sites. |

Based on a Duplicate of an existing course | This option is used to receive a copy of an existing course. (Whenever possible staff should use the Course Rollover Tool to duplicate their courses). |
