TI3 - 2021/22 - Must Do - AAD & MFA (+Teams for Education) laid the authentication ground work to implement the Microsoft LTI Moodle-Teams integration possibilities and showcase options to the Education Domain / Ed Futures. In addition to the plugins listed there, Microsoft has started developing an LTI integration option. It isn't clear which option would deliver our desired feature set. It was however clear when we reviewed the Zoom LTI integration and Zoom Moodle Plugin option that the plugin approach delivered the best user experience due to the deeper integration this offered, we should keep an open mind.

Microsoft have also created an LTI 1.3 integration for Moodle/Teams. The tool currently has three components:-

1. OneDrive integration
2. Roster syncing
3. Meeting creation

The integration is currently available via invite and we have been given access to that process by Microsoft. We need to review and test the functionality of the tool and liaise with Digi-Ed Futures + domain architecture. In the hope of deploying the integration into Moodle.

• Join MS LMS/Integration Programme https://m365crmedu.powerappsportals.com/LMSSignup/
• Test Teams  plugins & LTI 1.3 in our Moodle Preview environment
• Review functionality and work with Digi-Ed futures
• Create documentation for selected solution
• Deploy to prod before end of TI during regular sprint
