Feature LeadJason Norton

AS note - this feature will need breaking down further. Features to be created & refined for TI1 onwards.

Key information

Feature 1 - Continue to engage with the user community

Requirement: Consider Engagement with supplier and kickoff initial 1-2 day of consultation on Moodle 4.0 theme.

  • Outcome: Workshop direction we wish to take and agree rough timeline. (Currently the PO favours creating a new theme based on the Moodle core theme, to apply UCL's branding but with minimal alterations beyond that to begin with) → If we go down this basic route, we don't need to go external for theme development Ops&Devs in the team can implement.

Requirement: Work with UCL design team to obtain design guidance on what we must have in the theme. - https://www.ucl.ac.uk/cam/brand/guidelines

Outcome: Branding Guidelines shared with VLE team & supplier

Feature 2 - Review top community themes & identify desirable features

Requirement: Make selected themes available to Digi-Ed staff and to wider user group to elicit feedback. This should be staged with user group expanding as choices narrow on theme design.

Will include: Spinning up Moodle instances with those themes
