Restore Lecturecast capture

What content can be archived or deleted?

Currently, only playable media can be archived or deleted. This includes:

  • Audio

  • Video

  • Interactive Media

  • Spherical (360˚) Video

If you accidentally delete any presentations or polls, it will not appear in the Recycle Bin and cannot be recovered.

How to restore deleted captures:

  1. Log into EchoVideo.

  2. Click the Settings icon and select Recycle Bin.

    Archived Content is shown by default.

  3. Select the Trash tab.

  4. Sort and / or filter for the content to be restored.

  5. Optionally, use the paging controls along with the View Results dropdown to locate the content to restore.

  6. Click the Restore icon, as shown in the figure below, review the warning message that appears, and click OK.

  7. Optionally, you can bulk restore soft-deleted content.

  8. When you have selected more than one piece of media, a Restore icon appears at the bottom of the screen, as shown in the figure below.

  9. Click the Restore icon, as shown in the figure above, review the warning message that appears, and click OK.

Content is restored exactly as it was, including links, embeds, class / lesson associations, analytics, etc. Restoration time will depend on the number of files and their sizes.
