Ultraview Vox Instructions Part 3
Calibrate Stage
Before carrying out any multi-point acquisitions you need to calibrate the stage. During calibration the stage moves to its furthest limits so the objective lenses, stage adapters and condenser must all be in safe positions or they might get damaged.
Drop the objective lens nose-piece to its lowest position by pressing the Escape button (A). This is to stop the stage hitting the high resolution lenses when it moves over them. Raise the condenser (C) to its highest position, or at least so it's clear of the top of the stage (D). This is to stop it hitting the condenser when the stage moves.
Make sure the universal and multi-well plate stage adapters are on the right-hand side of the chamber. If they are on the left they will be crushed by the stage as it moves. Make sure no cables or tubing inside the chamber will catch on the stage as it moves.
