Mark and Find using LAS X Navigator

Mark & Find with different Z-stacks at each point

  1. Click on the LAS X Navigator icon.
  2. Click on the Z-Stack button.
  3. Make sure Same Stack Size for all Regions is off.
  4. Go to the first position and set the parameters for the Z-stack. Define the beginning (Begin) and end (End) of the z-stack, determine the number (Nr. of Steps) and size (Z-Step Size) of the steps, or use System Optimised.
  5. Go to the centre of the z-stack or to another plane of focus if the plane of focus is not in the middle of the stack.
  6. Click Mark to define the first scan region.
  7. Move to the next scan region, set up the z-stack parameters and mark the point.
  8. Repeat for all other points.
  9. In the Task List, the Z position and number of sections is shown for the images (i.e. marked points) as you hover the mouse over them, which will indicate that the stacks for each are different.
