An urban Wolf

I had a good day yesterday, but when I was going home I noticed that someone was following me. Every time I turned around I saw a shadow disappearing behind a parked car. When I walked faster, the shadow walked faster, and I didn’t know how to get away from it. I wanted to go to the Police but I didn’t know what to tell them.
In the end I turned round very quickly and then I saw who was following me. It was a large animal. It looked like a wolf but it might only have been a large dog. He seemed to be quite friendly so I waited for him to catch up with me. When he caught up with me he started talking. He was very polite towards me and told me that he had been following me because I looked like his sister who had died two years ago. He said he was sad because it was his birthday and none of his friends had wanted to come to his party. He had sent invitations to all his friends more than a month ago, and they had all replied that they were busy.Â
I felt sorry for the poor wolf. While the wolf had been telling me his story, I hadn’t noticed that we had entered a forest. Suddenly the wolf looked neither firendly nor sad, he looked fierce and dangerous. His eyes were yellow and he was showing his long sharp teeth. Â
I realised too late that he had tricked me and that in fact he had been following me because he wanted to eat me. Fortunately a policeman came by and when I turned to look at the wolf he was gone.
