M30d - Requesting a new Moodle course or course with template
Please note, Moodle is focused primarily on supporting taught academic courses and programmes. If you require duplication of an existing Moodle space, please visit the M30a - Duplicating your Moodle course with the CLC rollover tool Wiki guide.
When requesting a new Moodle course, there are 3 options to choose from, listed below. Please make sure to provide the module code (if applicable) and a course title.

Based on a Departmental Template | Department-based templates, or the blank Digital Education Baseline Module template (Formerly known as the Connected Learning Baseline Module template) are predefined in Moodle to be used as a shell for any new course. |

Blank Digital Education Baseline Module template (formerly Connected Learning Baseline Module Template) | This option is primarily used for the creation of new course templates (if a department template does not exist), or used for testing for the Getting Started with Moodle and Administering your Moodle Course sites. |

Based on a Duplicate of an existing course | This option is used to receive a copy of an existing course. (Whenever possible staff should use the Course Rollover Tool to duplicate their courses). |
