M06a2 - Portico Mappings Deactivated
Important Update!
New ‘Suspended’ student Moodle course enrolment status
The introduction of the 'Suspended' student enrolment status within Moodle will ensure that students are no longer unenrolled from a Moodle course when disassociated with it in Portico. Students will instead have their Moodle enrolment status set to ‘Suspended’. Students who show as suspended on a Moodle course will be unable to access that course.
Global deactivation of Portico mappings shall not be applied to the current term
The ‘Suspend’ process eliminates the need for full global deactivation and prevents students with grades from being unenrolled from Moodle courses.
Availability of Portico delivery mappings
Going forward Moodle courses shall only accommodate Portico delivery mappings of the current academic year. This will ensure that Portico enrolments reflect only the current academic year’s student cohort.
T1, T2 and T1/T2 Portico Mappings were globally deactivated in Moodle on 1 April, 2026
